We're all positive and she's a fighter.

Re: Make A Movie, Help Fight Cancer

Well, private industry has found benifits, but most of those companies are out of the US, therefore its not covered by the Us media and you don't hear about it.

Stem-cells can be grown without using Embryotic material. They can also be put into the body with no counter effects or rejection from the patient.

Its a natural cure that once perfected will extend the lifespan of humans, and cure "most" desease's

Its easy to see why the medical community and the Government take a stand against it.
They don't want to upset the status quo of BIG BUSINESS...

Re: Make A Movie, Help Fight Cancer

790 you need to really do some research before bringing THAT topic up.

1. It's not being suppressed, just not financed by the gov't. Private industry can research it to its heart's content.

2. Nothing has come from embryotic stem cell research AFAIK, but some possible leads have come from ADULT stem cell research.

Vic

Re: Make A Movie, Help Fight Cancer

I wish your Mom the best Richard. Miricles happen all the time so don't give up! :-)

^(IMO)
Its really a crime that Stem Cell research is being surpressed.
The cure lies there.

I personally believe that (the powers that be) don't want a cure for the General population anyway. The medical establishment would loose billions if there was a cure.

Re: Make A Movie, Help Fight Cancer

My family's thoughts and prayers go out to your Mom Richard...I wish you both peace and love.. :)

Cheers

Re: Make A Movie, Help Fight Cancer

Thanks Vic. She caught C-Diff in hospital too - the hospital bug that's been causing an uproar in the UK - so she's really going through the wars just now.

Spirits high and keeping positive though.

Re: Make A Movie, Help Fight Cancer

Damn, Richard... I hope your mom is hanging in there. Cancer is a devil of a disease.
