I saw this for the first time as re-run. Haven't seen Season Three. Haven't seen Season Four (but for a couple episodes). I enjoyed it! It kept me on the edge of my seat! It was a bit confusing, like others mentioned. But that's okay! Be a little less cynical people. And enjoy the ride! (Oh! It was fun too.)

I've never seen a full episode of Smallville, so this is more of a "peanut gallery" post, but your short summary made me think of the comic book store guy from The Simpsons: Worst... episode... EVER!

The "Flash" episode was actually one of the better ones this season.

I'll keep watching... for now.

Two (or was it three) weeks ago, I caught Smallville for the first time; it was the episode with "kid" Flash in it. It was great! Some aspects of it were kind of cheesy, but nothing terribly distracting from it.

However, I didn't feel drawn into it, and haven't watched it since. But, I am a fickle TV viewer. If it isn't sports or the Simpsons, I don't stick with it.

I love Smallville, but honestly, when I saw the preview at the end of last week's episode I knew it would suck and didn't even bother to watch.

I still have hope for the show. I agree that Lex is EASILY the most intruiging character (and actor). Last season's finale was one of the best I've ever seen on TV. But man you're right... they better tie the whole Lana thing off soon. I have a very short att... ummm... what was I saying?

We enjoy Smallville too.

I don't even want to see this episode now.
